Before I wrote this Site Sell review, I took a look around on the net for what others were saying and I was surprised that I couldn’t find any negative reviews anywhere. I did find a lot of very positive reviews and after completing this system I can understand why.
I’ve read a lot of information and completed a lot of courses about Internet Marketing, but nothing even comes close to the depth and scope of Make Your Site Sell.

The following article provides a first-hand perspective of potential SiteSell results as well as an overview of the SiteSell system. There are a lot of choices out there if you’re looking for help to start an online business. Having said this, SiteSell isn’t a get-rich-quick solution. The methodology takes time (as does any successful venture), patience, and diligence. While every person, business and market is different, if you follow the methodology you’ll certainly have much greater odds of positive SiteSell results than you will with some other online business packages.

The SBI! 2.0 system starts off by teaching users that an online business is more than just a website or a blog. Users learn the fundamentals of building a true e-business that will result in long-term earning potential. Ken’s background is quite diverse having an M.D. as well as running a highly successful toy design company. While I have not met Ken in person, I can tell he is extremely passionate about SiteSell and his customers that use it. He communicates regularly through newsletters, forums and blogs and replies directly to many questions posed by SiteSell users – me included.

As far as SiteSell results, the program lived up to its claims in our test study. For our golf tips website, we ranked #1 for our key search term: easy golf tips. We also ranked in the top 10 for several of our “chapter” keywords.
We’ve certainly spoken highly of SiteSell in this article but it’s not without it’s faults (like any other product). The term “faults” is a bit strong, these observations are probably more “areas for improvement”. Also keep in mind that Ken and his team are constantly adding to and improving the solution. Our observations below are based on the version we used and may not be indicative of the current platform.
1. Look and Feel – SiteSell makes it easy for novices to create online businesses without requiring technical experience. Their website builder makes it pretty easy to drag and drop website components (i.e. headers, navigation bars, logos, footers) to build the site. In our trial, we weren’t overly impressed with the look and feel of the end product. With all the other great tools they provide to build an online business, we just felt that the website builder produced an amateur looking site. In our test case we chose to build our site by hand to improve the cosmetic appearance.
2. FTP Support – I haven’t double checked this recently but at the time we test drove SiteSell, they did not allow for FTP support. You had to use their tools to upload and update your website. I totally appreciate why they did this and think it’s a smart move based on their platform. However, if you’re an experienced web developer, you may find their transfer mechanism somewhat limited from direct FTP access.
3. Volume of Information – This one’s a double edge sword. SiteSell provides a wealth of information – many of it’s free. Maybe it’s the way it’s organized, I just felt a bit overwhelmed at times with so much to digest. I guess this a good problem to have.
